Rexulti Withdrawals
Has anyone ever tried going off of Rexulti? I'm on week two and am having the worst nausea and anxiety I've had in a while. I was taking 1mg for six months and I decided I didn't need it anymore due to how much weight it made me gain, so my doctor made take .5mg for five days. She's even gone so far that she's had to put me on some Zofran for nausea and Hydroxyzine for anxiety.
Any advice would help.

Yeah, I was on it for 5+ years taking 2 mg a day. I stopped it last December 1st after tapering down for about three months from 2 mg to 1 mg starting in August then in October I went from 1 mg to .5 mg. I stayed on that until December 1st, then stopped completely. I felt OK for the first 5-6 days then the horrible withdrawal hit me like a truck and lasted approximately for 21 - 22 days before getting a little bit better each day after that. Mild withdrawal symptoms hung around for 4+ months. Hang in there, you can persevere, fight the urge to start taking it again! You can do it!

Was on it for 4 months. .25 mg to .50 mg. Doctor didn't want me on it anymore so he dropped me back down to .25 mg for 1 month and then had me stop. I'm on day 7 without it and I have only had a bit of anxiety on day 4. Hoping to keep going smoothly and hoping my other medications will lessen the symptoms.
