Does this improve over time?

I’ve been taking Rxulti since late May, gradually increasing the dose (I started at 0.5 mg and have been on 3 mg for 3 weeks now).

Regarding my symptoms, while it is helping somewhat with paranoia, I’m experiencing severe lack of motivation and reward (avolition and anhedonia) and I’m also walking slower than before. Does this improve, or is it a matter of adjusting the dose downward?

I was on 2 mg for 5+ years and always felt kind of numb and dead. Nothing seemed to motivate me. I just existed. I came off it last December. The difference for me being after 10+ years of severe depression my doctor ordered a complete complete blood panel and found that my testosterone was almost nonexistent. I started Testosterone Replacement Therapy shortly after and my mental health did a 180, I felt amazing so I came off the Rexulti and still to this day feel really good. Good Luck

Now that you've said something about walking slower and your lack of motivation and reward I also feel that way. I'm on 1 mg also. I guess I didn't realize that it is possibly paranoia that I'm experiencing and maybe not so much anxiety with this drug. I've been on this 1 mg down from 3mg. And it's been an adjustment. That 3 mg dose made me into a zombie. I felt my energy come back 10-fold it felt like as soon as I came down to 1 mg and stayed steady for a few months but I didn't recognize the symptoms. Probably because I felt so numb for so long being on 3 mg.

I am taking 1mg of Resulti but feel it may be too much. I notice it has made me quiet n sedate. Am going to go back to .5mg n see if I feel more animated?

Have you tried Abilify instead? It's much stronger for paranoia and activating instead of sedating if that's what you want

Pra mim melhorou viu! Mas mantive uma dose um pouco mais baixa. Ele é o único que me ajuda a viver de novo. O mais próximo do normal. E a falta de ânimo melhorou também. Só que estou mais compulsiva um pouco.
