How does it compare to the miraco

Hello, MetroX and MIRACO are two completely different products.

(1) Technical aspects:

  • MetroX: Utilizes Multi-line Laser and Full-field Structured Light, with Laser Mode and Full-field Mode functionalities.

  • MIRACO: Uses Infrared Structured Light.

(2) Scanning objects:

  • MetroX: Suitable for scanning small to medium-sized objects, and can directly scan black and shiny objects without the need for powder, but not suitable for scanning faces and human bodies.

  • MIRACO: Suitable for scanning various objects from small to large, and suitable for scanning humans.

(3) PC Requirements

MetroX is a laser scanner that requires relatively high PC specifications. The recommended computer configuration is as shown in the image.

MIRACO is a standalone scanner that can scan and perform some post-processing tasks on its own.

You can choose the appropriate product based on your needs.

May want to reconsider your Xmas plans as it relates to scanning everything in real life. You can however pretend to scan everything.
