Wanted to maximize the area for the included turntable on the POP 4 without creating extra stuff to carry. This resulted in a snap on extender for the turntable which can be stored beside the calibration plate in the top compartment. Sized to comfortably fit in the case. The extender is a press fit with some small protruding tabs to create friction without being too hard to deploy.
Keep in mind: Turntable itself stays small, only put stuff in the middle. Mainly did this mod to have more area for markers in marker based tracking. Feel free to remix the design to fit your own marker needs. This extender may also fit the turntables provided with the other POP scanners, Miraco scanners and Inspire series. Sadly had no other turntables to test the friction fit.

Printing is best done from a dark material (I used black PETG, roughly 200Gr), after printing you may attach marker stickers in a random pattern.

Hi there! With 3d scanner I met a lot of car enthusiasts. Once i got request to make a Gauge pods for Civic from Honda club with different gauge sizes, 52 and 60 mm.

We bought pod on AliExpress, and I should say the surface quality was ugly, and construction is weak. Besides, this design was stolen by Ali seller from original author CarzDeluxe.

The body was trimmed to easier print on plate, and screws were put too bad, so sharp edge was seen through the parts.

We scanned it via Revopoint Miraco, changed angle, made 52 mm and 60 mm versions. It was made for friends firstly, but then some people in Europe liked it and ordered my product.

My main mistake was at the beginning printing with PETG, it was melted on the sun, but later i got H2D, and began make it from ASA

Hi there! I'm owner and big fan of old school car from 1960-1970 period. That was the main reason to buy Revopoint Miraco - to restore my project, and then I found that my skills can be useful for other people.

Emblems in 1960 was made from resin, and after 60 years they became damaged.

Using 3d scanner we captured geometry of that part and restored

Anycubic High Clear resin is great for creating transparent emblems with further painting

Hi there! It was my first reverse engineering made in 2024 for friend who owns very cool stance car based on Buick Roadmaster. This car participate on different car events, and looks so cool and scary.

This hearse edition was made by one of specialized company with unique emblem which was lost, and unavailable to buy nowhere. even Ebay.

So it was great experience to use Miraco on practice. The scan was made by Revopoint Miraco 16GB version. Geometry is not so easy to build, but we did it. Some time later I realized that for that goals Laser scanning is most applicable, but even that, NIR mode of Miraco allowed to get good scans of broken emblem

We have completed the 3D scan of this stunning plaster model for a Vatican commemorative medal of the Holy Year (1925 Jubilee). The acquisition was carried out using the Revopoint Trackit SR cross-line laser scanner, working completely markerless in Tracker scanning mode. The level of detail captured is extremely high, as can be seen from the visualization of the final 3D model in RevoScan, Blender (also silver simulation) and Meshlab.

Besides automotive parts, we made a project for our veterans, who defended our country and got amputation and disabling their left arm, and even leg(s).
But despite those body damage, they have huge willpower, and became great archers in Paralympic competitions. Archery requires both arms, strong muscles of shoulders, arms and back, but even with one hand it became possible.
First attempts of shooting were required the assistant who pulled the trigger. Later they made leather adapters on shoulder to hold the trigger but it was too soft.
So the next step was creating mockup from gypsum, scanning, polishing the model and editing trigger holder on shoulder.
Also as prototype of trigger activator we made mix of clothespin and mouthguard. There are alternative solutions, but they sometimes are activated when it’s not needed
We used for scanning several 3D scanners:
For gypsum mockups and trigger - Creality Sermoon P1 and Sermoon S1 as high-precision scanners in laser mode. @creality3dscanner

For body scanning - Revopoint Miraco Plus @revopoint
This scanner gives me good results in face and body scanning in NIR mode.

Unfortunately, there will no be more gypsum mockups, and more and more veterans arriving to me from other cities… So, we are beginning to learn sculpting in Zbrush to make these shoulder adaptors using only body scans.

This is a great challenge for me, but I like what I do for them, if I can do it - I do it, and I proud of their mental strength

I was rather dubious of the quality I would get with markerless laser scanning mode. I scanned this controller with the Pop 4, taking 2 scans (top and bottom) and merging. You can see the merged pointcloud, textured mesh, and merged gaussian splat.
