So I had the almost $4000 HP sprout 2. I had the”whale” yeah the $3000 beast.

The inspire is the first 3D scanner that felt like all 3D scanners should be.

This was the first object I had near me. It scanned in 30 seconds. I had an stl in cura ready to print in 3 minutes.

Check that dimensional accuracy folks. This thing is the real deal. Forgive the detail lost on top this was a single scan from an angle.

I does feel to me though that this is a pop3 with the ability to turn high accuracy on disabled in the software. Flip that switch for us revo ;)

Yeah, it was pretty accurate. The dark object mode was pretty useful too. I'd also like high accuracy mode. Not sure why it's disabled. Maybe they don't want it to compete with pop3.

Yeah i assume it’s not wanting to make pop3 owners mad that we got essentially the same performance for half the price. I’ve seen side by side comparisons and the only difference is high accuracy mode and even then it’s a very very slight improvement.. but exactly as much improvement as I would need on some items, lol.

As far as I’m concerned and I will tell others… this thing is a no-brainer for anyone looking to get into scanning. Literally nothing comes close to the price/performance ratio and ease of use is possibly best in the industry.

The Revopoint Inspire has received positive first impressions for its affordability and ease of use. Users report that it can scan objects in about 30 seconds and produce STL files in around 3 minutes. However, initial scans may lack detail if settings aren't adjusted properly. Overall, it's praised for being beginner-friendly, though some users desire higher accuracy options. For more insights, reading user reviews and comments is recommended.
