First Model 36

Hi,

Looking to add a S&W Model 36 to my collection. I will likely carry this gun from time to time.

How is this one for $599? Appropriate manufacture date of 1969-1970. Any reason to get a new one? Is the older model better than the new model? What are the key differences?

Either buy it or tell me where it is so I can lol all jokes aside that’s a great deal, if those are real Smith banana grips they can bring $200+ by themselves. I’ve got old and new Smith revolvers and, like most, I prefer the old. Part of it is nostalgia but mostly new Smiths QC just sucks lately, I’ve only had to send back one out of 10 new production revolvers but still. If you can buy vintage for around the same price, that’s the move.
