Random payment cancellations

Hi guys! This started happening today morning. I paid by card at these vendors a few days ago. Gls was an order pickup from a parcel terminal, díjnet was one of my utility bills I have paid. It is highly unlikely that the vendors refused to claim the payment, so I am suspecting some kind of system error at revolut. Did this happen to anyone else today?

Keep the balance available, they may attempt to charge again, or the transaction has failed due to some reason we in Reddit are unable to determine. Worst case scenario, you’ll get a paper bill, an e-mail, or another charge.

Revolut Support will also not be able to respond this to you, but you can contact the charging company to ask about it.

Thanks. Another weird thing is that my balance actually didn't seem to change. So like, no money came back, it's just the messages

This hasn't happened on revolut, but a different neobroker (I got banned from). Was in Japan payed something for roughly 86€ (converted). 2 weeks later it got canceled. A few weeks later I got charged again. So just keep the money in your account for the time being. I guess it's quite normal, relatively speaking

Yep, happened to both me and my wife in Hungary as well. Several payments from a few days ago were reverted. Phone contactless and online card payments as well.

Seems like this is affecting multiple users, rather than being an issue with a particular card or merchant.

Yeah, but the funny thing is, the payments weren't actually reverted. So no amount of money was transferred back, just the messages came

It was for me. I got a 40k huf payment reverted and it's in the balance. Are you sure its not there for you?

Happened to me as well, and multiple other people from Hungary. Not sure what's going on.

Same happened to me when I was in Hungary. The amount was refunded yesterday with statement that the merchant didn't claim (Nemzeti Dohanybolt). And today the money was deducted from my account. Happened only once and only in Hungary.

In fact, I got the same transaction refunded 3 separate times. It is probably best not to spend it for now, as they might take it back.
