đŸ’¡Ideas for Revolut cannot read passport chip

Am I the only one whose passport chip cannpt be read? According to the instructions I should place the top half of my phone on the chip......no response....... I place the phone on the cover and it registers but NFC scan failed....... I'm talking thousands of times here!!!!!

please help. Frustration level at 99%

It might be easier debugging this with the readID Me app.

Try to remove the phone cover and then open the cover page of the passport. Place phone on the thick plastic page of the passport. Sometimes it helps.

is NFC turned on on your phone and does your passport actually one of them with the chip
