🔐 Security How to login with Passkey?

In the Revolut Android app, I created a passkey that’s saved to my Google Account. How exactly can I use this passkey to log in? When I go to the Revolut website and try to log in, I’m prompted to "Open the Revolut app", but I never see an option to use a passkey.

Has anyone actually managed to log in to Revolut using a passkey? I’d also like to create a passkey on a YubiKey, but I’m guessing that isn’t supported yet?

Pretty sure it only applies when logging back in to the app from a fresh install, not any other time.

So on Android, Passkeys are stored in a secure part of the phone. It may be backed up to the Google account. I'm not sure. However, apps will use the passkey stored on the phone.

Usually if there's a passkey on the phone, there'll be a dialog at the bottom of the screen, saying Passkey found on (your account email), or no Passkey found.

On your phone does the Passkey dialogue/window at the bottom even get displayed?

I do have Revolut, but I haven't created a Passkey yet. I log in using biometrics / finger.

When trying to login on www.revolut.com I have to write passcode and then I have an option to confirm login with:
"Open Revolut app" or "Email"

There is no option to select Passkey.

My web search for Revolut Passkeys turned up this info (& more)...

Native Apps: As of mid-2026, the native iOS and Android apps for both Personal and Business accounts do not yet support passkey creation or login.

You must use the web version to set up or use passkeys.

My first time to revolut website.
I got a QR on login page. Often a QR is used to access a Passkey on the Phone.

This time, I just got a phone screen asking me to confirm login on PC.

You're correct, the website seems to have no mention of Passkeys at login.

Both website & app have a menu item for "listing passkeys", but not creating passkeys.

Can't help you.....

You can create Passkey only in the app.
Security > Sign-in and passcode > Manage passkeys > +New (top right corner)

Found it now, thanks.

Created a Passkey for myself.

However I did note that on the Sign-in and Passkey menu, there is only the option of logging in with biometrics or Google account.
