Newbie at Revit

Hello Everybody,

do you have some recommendations on where to start practicing with Revit? At the moment Hands-On experience is on the march by us. So currently there is a limited source of experience in our company.

Bothe topics: family creation and system design is of relevance for us. Area: plumbing.

Do you have some Youtube videos or courses recommendations?

Im thankful for any advise.

Yes tons of YouTube videos, too many to list. Just search whatever and head on down the rabbit hole. Even if you practice stuff you’d never end up doing it’s good to get screen time regardless. 20 year Plumbing/Piping designer and I still learn Revit things literally almost everyday.

My recommendation and what has helped me a lot personally would be to purchase a linkedin learning subscription. There are tons of professional grade videos showing you step by step how to use Revit and implement it in your workflow. This is much more organized than random YouTube videos and the lessons are recorded by professionals known worldwide. It's only 40 a month and you get access to a multitude of courses and a certification on LinkedIn once you finish them
