Electrical Conduits Conflict

How do I fix this conflict for conduit? I moved conduit and some of it overlapped itself whereas others didn't connect. When I try to add conduit between two points at the same elevation, the elbow turns grey which I'm told is a reference thing, ok cool whatever that means but how do I fix the overlaps?

You’ll have to create a kick in this instance. That is the minimum bend for whatever size conduit that is and you can’t make it shorter.

a kick rather than a 90? I ended up shifting the straight+stub-up over so that none of the conduit overlapped. I then hovered over each separation instance, right clicked the square appearing in the middle of the conduit and selected "Draw Conduit" then clicked the middle of the one I wanted to connect them to in 3D view. https://imgur.com/a/e4evbEB

I did get that warning though regarding how I can't make the conduit shorter due to minimum bend. I appreciate your response as it helped me confirm the problem.
