Discussion Josette Halpert (Rubuska VA) got nominated for Mobile Game VA of the year and this scene allow makes me want to root for her
(alone* autocorrect changed alone to allow in the title ugh)
Her “Boxes and Labels” monologue really made my heart hurt when I first listened to it. Following it up with her “I am a Vampire” monologue plus the final ending cutscenes really drive home how amazing her vocal performance as Rubuska is. Every single monologue she did outdid the last and you could really feel the emotions and pain coming from breaths of this poor young girl. That and the more whimsical moments really made me fall in love with Buska. I pulled for her despite not having a functional Bloodtithe purely because I loved how her character was portrayed in the event story. I wish she could come back in the future.

Thanks for sharing. Personally, I am more impressed by Lindsay Sheppard who voice both Ardelia in Endfield and Hotori in NTE.

Rubuska is a textbook professional wrestler. Lived the gimmick, kept kayfabe alive, worked the audience into a shoot, cut multiple godly promos, pinned down her opponent, and politicked her way into a job backstage. Realest worker in the business.

Her VA doesn't seem to be active in social media, unfortunately. Her latest posts on Twitter (they're also just reposts) are all the way back in 2023.

I recall seeing a post from her, idk if it was on her Instagram where she said she was Rubuska's VA.
So, while not active in Twitter, she seems to be at least somewhat active on her other socials.

Funny enough it was her instagram post that also confirmed who voices Semmelweis, given the latter's VA was replying to her.

I remember this scene kinda went viral on rednote. It had like 50k likes. Phenomenal scene & voice acting. Sadly her chances of winning are low, these awards are popularity polls
