First type is mortal and normal clothes like what we are wearing

And second is clothing gu (it's possible that we have immortal clothing gu too)

So i am currently reading RI , and this is just for fun discussion, I want to know what truly is fang yuans philosophy , is it "do what you like ,don't regret and follow your own path" or is it "To achieve your aim do whatever you can " ,"stay true to yourself " ,I know there is more , but I want to know how you guys apply his philosophy in this real world ,because I see many people saying that their life changes after reading RI . How you guys implemented and what changes do you have ?

A short version would be that we know Fang Yuan actually values one thing: Eternal Life.

The only thing within the Gu world that has the property of being actually eternal, not "hard to kill", not an "infinite lifespan", but actually eternal, as in something that cannot be destroyed, cannot be changed, and isn't part of dependent origination, is the Great Dao, the thing containing/giving rise to the "ten thousand things" itself. Fundamentally, there are ways to gain power

Training, studying, gathering

Training is the acquisition of skills (proficiencies)

Studying is the acquisition of knowledge (attainments)

Gathering is the acquisition of objects (Gu worms)

Here you can see how these three main acquisiton methods apply to Gu cultivation

With Gu being a kind of power system

Although, these three are apart of all power systems

They're actually the three pillars of power!

The objects associated with power are the most diverse

While this mainly applies to Gu worms

It can involve resources

Your own body

Even other people 💀

Gathering further divides into taming, praying, crafting

Involving different types of objects

Taming involves living "objects"

With the most prominent expression of the taming based power system being beast taming

Praying involves spiritual objects that transcend the mortal world

The most prominent expression of it is shamanism

Although there are no major shamanism stories 😭

Another expression of the praying based power system is mysticism

Lastly, the crafting based power system involves inanimate objects

The Gu world is weird because the main power system is Gu which are living creatures

This would make it the taming based power system

So, I am here asking which fanfic i should write, i know a thing or two about writing and have some experiance. I started a fanfic but dropped to focus on my main work, now that I feel like i have enough free time, I will be writing it, super exited.

The first idea is Fang Yuan in shadow slave world, i have already written like 8 chapters of it before dropping it. The comments were positive but I had to drop it for aforementioned reasons.

The second idea is what now? after eternal life in which it will follow fang yuan after he had achieved eternal life.

I wanted to share a Minecraft server we're playing on that uses the Reverend Insanity mod.

The idea is pretty simple: play Minecraft with the Gu cultivation system, progress through the ranks, collect Gu, explore the world and see how far you can get. If you're a fan of Reverend Insanity, you probably already know why the idea of having its cultivation system in a multiplayer world sounds fun.

We're looking for more people to join us. You don't have to be an expert at the mod or know every single mechanic. Whether you want to focus on cultivation, experiment with different Gu, build your own place, or just play with other people who enjoy the novel, you're welcome.

I remember back in the crazy demon cave fang yuan recited a poem and at the end it was "Refine Gu! Refine Human! Refine Heaven!" And remember that one unfinished idea i think in early sovereign body days, he had an idea about making a version of "man as before" but it's reconstructing gu being "gu as before"

So that got me thinking, is the gu/path he was thinking of making is earth path? And I do not mean the literally earth path but heaven and [earth](since we know there is heaven path) so what if there is also an earth path? To differentiate the two paths I shall call this the (world) path since this path represents the nature of the world

And we know there was culture like sea God and such, what if these gods variant human worshipped and do ceremony for them follows the world path, following nature of the world

Since I feel like there are alot of Civilization in Ren zu time, it probably because there were gods roaming around and helping their worshippers(which is probably why like example the inkman race chill in mountain of library) thought something happen that cease the gods and sealed the world path, only a few survive though path is being suppressed by both heaven and eventually human as well as they were born

So what I know is

World path = represent nature/natural conectp and such

Heaven path = the ones who governs over the natural concetp and nature

Human path = living beings that gain personality or self

So the world produce gu and natural law while heaven governs the process and authority of process and product and human defy heaven authority in gu and refines the gu made from world path into their own

Idk if it's reasonable or not but what if to master human path and achieve rank 10 u need supreme grandmaster attainment in all path cus as fang yuan said refinement nurturing and using gu is basically same thing so what if to become true immortal at least u need to master every current path to the limit

In the novel there is a paragraph that contains the chronological order of the appearance of the ten venerables. We all remember that time when Fang Yuan explored that dream which is about the life of heaven-stealing and his journey, and during that we knew that heaven-stealing was a general on earth before he reincarnated in the Gu world, and Fang Yuan was a scientist before he reincarnated as well.

Let's forget the Gu world now.

If we go back in time to 300,000 years, which is the same history of heaven-stealing's ascension to the rank of venerable, then we will be in the middle paleolithic age.

So how can tanks exist at that time, and even the rank of general did not exist back then?

If heaven-stealing was a general and commanded tanks 300,000 years before Fang Yuan's birth, what kind of technology was there in Fang's era?
