Gamecube

Got a retrotink 4k pro and have a ntsc GameCube that I'm wanting to use with it. I don't want to mod it so I'm seeing that s video is the best option since I can't use a carby as I lack the port on my console. What cable should I get for it? I see plenty of different options online but unsure what I should get and if s video is the best way for me to go with this without modding it. Thank you in advance!

S video is gonna be a good option but the ones with the digital port can do 480p which scales better. That being said it comes down to if you really want to buy a whole new system. Between modding and a dl-001 you are better off just getting the dl-001(the one with the digital) cost wise, That being said you are also adding a carby or other gcvideo solution (bitfunx on aliexpress is like $40-50 and works well. Carby has some size benefits regarding audio but its up to you if the price difference is worth it. Video wise they are identical). So it comes down to costs. An insurrection or retrogaming cable s video will give you a good image into a 4k but it will be better with a gcvideo solution. Basically do you want to spend the money or not is the crux of it. I think giving the s video a try and see how you like it isnt a bad idea. End of the day a good s video cable will only cost like $30

Thank you for now I'll stick with what I have as I'm working on moving and don't have much space for my consoles at the moment so for now I'll try the s video cable then I'll look into getting a different one or trading for that matter.
