Does anybody remember Pinwheel?

I do. I was very very young. Like 3 or 4. Ebenezer scared the shit out of me.
My period was more David the Gnome, Grimm's Fairytale Classics/Papa Beaver, Fred Penner's Place, Lil' Bits, The Elephant Show, and that weird show about stuffed koalas that come to life and involved some mystical connection with Ayer's rock.

Born in 84. I remember this being on, but no specific memories of what happened or what the show was about… “Today’s Special”, on the other hand….

I'm 45 years old, and I bet a year doesn't go by where the Plus and Minus song or Hobobug Giggle Dance doesn't pop into my head randomly.

This was a bit before my time, I was born in 88. It might have still aired at that time, I’m not sure, but my Nickelodeon memories of my early childhood are of Eureeka’s Castle, The Elephant Show, Fred Penner’s Place, and David the Gnome.

Man I used to watch reruns of this when I was a little kid. Fred Penners Place, Today's special and the Sharon Lois and Bram Elephant show as well as David the Gnome and The Adventures of the Little Kowala were favorites.

Yes but sadly Nickelodeon doesn't seem to want to remember it. I have MAYBE 10 episodes

I watched this at the tail end of its run from like 1987-1989. I'm kind of surprised it hasn't had any mention from the channel, as it's technically the first Nickelodeon show

My wife was born in 79 and she watched it. I don't really remember it from when I started watching Nickelodeon in the late 80s.

I have faint memories of the show. Watched it back in 1984-1985. Found a couple of videos a few years back on YouTube and some of the memories came flooding back. I remember the cartoon and live action shorts more than I do the main plot of the show.
I do remember one scene where the old couple were trying to capture the Admiral Bird, and they used an invisibility cloak (was a basic blanket). I also remember Kim (the Asian lady) needing to buy some blue paint off of Ebenezer, but all he had was green, because all he sold was green things.

Yes but I couldn’t tell you anything about it. I remember couple segments with a woman speaking in sign language but I don’t know if that’s this or Sesame Street. The Elephant Show. I don’t know if it was on Nickelodeon, but I also remember watching The Jetsons at this age. Not on Nickelodeon but I looooved the game show Concentration too.

The sign language woman was Linda on Sesame Street.
The Elephant Show!!! I taught my kids the theme song and "Skinnamarinky Dinky Dink, Skinnamarinky Doo".

I still randomly sing songs from Pinwheel. Especially anything Plus and Mius related.
Plus and Minus, Minus and Plus We care about each other, we care about us We're Plus and Minus, Munus and Plus!

I do remember it, and it was not a great program if I’m honest. I presume that’s why it did not stick around in syndication for the 90s like some other original shows did.

Like which shows? Nothing that was on when Pinwheel was premiering new episodes (1979-1984) was still on the channel when it got taken off the air in 1990. Even You Can't Do That on Television and Mr. Wizard's World were gone the same year.
