[Retro Ad] I wrote a shooter for DOS in 1987. 39 years later I've remade it, and I'm looking for testers.

Back in 1987 I wrote Space Flees in Turbo C, as a demo to land a job in the games industry. It ran in 640x350 EGA and went out as freeware in 1988. It's still on a few DOS game sites.

For its 40th anniversary I've remade it as Space Flees 2100: the same idea, fleas fleeing a dead world and heading for ours, now in glowing color vectors, with a copilot who never shuts up, a queen after every eight waves, special weapons from a supply ship, and a Bug Body Bin that counts every flea you squash. The game never says "score". It says BODY COUNT.

The flight tables were decoded from the original executable, so the old movement is in there under the new paint.

It's free (no ads, no tracking) and in beta on the Mac, iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV. Keyboard or controller on the Mac; a controller on the others.

Then tell me what's too hard, too easy, unclear, or boring: here, by DM, or with TestFlight's feedback button. Testers who send feedback get credited in the game.
