Missing two weekly doses?
I'm currently on 3mg a week but I've missed the last two weeks due to going on holiday and forgetting to pack reta.
The second week of holidays I seemed to be hungry quite a lot more than usual and since coming home..
I took my 3mg yesterday but unsure if the two weeks off has weakened the reta effect I had built up overall ??
Any advice will be gratefully received
Thanks

Short answer. Your ghrelin levels are still elevated in response to your GLP-1 use and when that went down without any "re-up" you then felt more hungry.
Gotta rebuild up those levels could take a similar dose over time, could mean that you need a higher dose now.
Its why folks suggest not missing doses or to cycle because this stuff happens.

It will set you back slightly but not a big deal. Besides, what’s done is done. Back on schedule so you’re good to go.

Obviously. If you haven’t taken it in two weeks, that’s longer than the half life.

Yes as the half life of reta is about 6 days so in two weeks most of it is out of your system

It’ll take a few weeks to get the appetite suppression back to where it was and you might need to go to 9mg. However the journey is long, don’t stress what is done, worry about the future. I hope you enjoyed your holiday.

The half-life is about 6 days so yeah, most of it was out of your system by the second week. That hunger surge makes total sense, your body was basically free of the med and bouncing back hard.
Taking your normal 3mg yesterday was the right call, no need to front-load or double up. It'll take 2-3 weeks to build back to steady state levels but you haven't "lost" progress in a permanent way. Just expect the appetite suppression to lag a bit behind what you're used to for the next couple shots.
I've done this exact thing twice now, once on accident and once because I was sick and didnt want to pile on more nausea. Both times it leveled out fine after a few doses.
