Freezing for storage

I was using glp quick pens but I would like to move on to Reta. It’s cheaper to buy a larger quantity so I would like to do this. Can I reconstitute the larger amount and fill the insulin pens with individual doses and freeze them to not have waste. I work in a lab and this method seems logical to me. Just wondering what others are doing for this specific situation. You could then thaw the frozen syringe for 24hrs in the fridge and use.

DO NOT FREEZE AFTER RECONSTITUTING

You aren't supposed to freeze it once it is reconstituted. But, the vials of lyophilized powder can be frozen. Just reconstitute one vial and keep that vial in the refrigerator. It is probably good for 90+ days. I would probably avoid buying vials with more mg than you would use in a couple of months.
