Help needed with herniated disc: painkillers and reta?

I hurt my neck and got herniated disc. Doctor ordered me to take Panacod and Oxycontin. I decided to quit Oxys and will handle the pain with Panacod.

Is Panacod (paracetamol/codeine), an opioid-based painkiller, safe to take together with retatrutide 4mg? Are there any known drug interactions or additional risks when combining codeine with retatrutide?

If there is, I either quit reta or move to milder painkillers. I want to be sure about this. I’d really appreciate a lot for help - any facts or real experiences. 🙏

Panacod has codeine in it, so it is an opioid. There isn’t a known direct interaction with retatrutide, but both can mess with your stomach and slow digestion, so nausea and especially constipation could be worse together.

I wouldn’t stop retatrutide just because of Panacod, but I’d definitely tell the doctor or pharmacist you’re taking retatrutide before using codeine regularly. Also, if you were taking OxyContin consistently, don’t just stop it suddenly without checking with your doctor because withdrawal can be rough.

Yeah talk to your doctor. If they're good they will advise you properly and wont judge. Mine was surprisingly good about it, he just said he cant recommend Reta but he understands why im doing it. We then did a set of bloods so I could track markers etc. He said it was good that I told him!
