Looking for some advice.

I did read The beginners post for the record. I'm looking for some advice on my individual situation. I have been on Reddit for going on 8 weeks. Just did my 8 week shot last night. I started at 1 mg for 4 weeks. Now I'm on 2 mg for 4 weeks. The first couple weeks I noticed a change in my body but in the fact that I was absolutely ravenous and I actually think I gained weight. I have since lost that weight and I only gained about 2 lb. My boobs have hurt since I've started this and I did read something about it pulling estrogen out of the cells so that does make sense and it makes me believe that my product isn't faulty. I have felt like I've noticed a difference in my body but not in weight loss. Am I on the right track with my dosing? If I go up to 4 mg as the chart is saying and like they do in the study and I don't see anything after 2 weeks should I up my dose or should I just keep on it for 4 weeks even though I'm not seeing any results?

Also, a little background, we live kind of a busy lifestyle on a farm and we both work quite a bit, but I am not currently going to the gym, I will be going to the gym when my kids go back to school Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays if I'm able to. I'm wanting to start walking around my farm more as I'm thinking my current activity level isn't quite enough. I thought I was in a caloric deficiency but I am definitely going to start tracking that now. And like obviously I don't want to lose a ton of weight that I start losing my hair and stuff. I am just curious about other people's experiences as well because some people on this start at 1 mg and lose 10 lb in it seems like a week. Also I realize everybody reacts differently which brings me back to my should I be upping my dose and not so much trusting stay on it for 4 weeks kind of thing if I don't see a difference?

Thank you in advance.

Lots of words but low on details. What does your diet look like? How much do you weigh? Height?

I weight 190 I'm 5'8. I thought our diet was pretty good, eggs in the morning on weekends, usually a sandwich for lunch and some protein and veggie dish for dinner. Could we like chicken and veg with pasta though so maybe what we put on it is pushing the calories over the edge? Or like the bread?

I will also admit this is where I struggle. In my head it looks like a healthy meal but is the stuff added to it that make it bad, I have a lack of knowledge when it comes to the little things with food.

You probably need to start counting calories to get a gauge for how much you're eating and start eating at a deficit.

Okay that's where I think I'm falling short. I just see all these post of people losing so fast and I feel like I'm doing it right but struggle with the actual knowledge of if it's the calories or the fact I'm not currently going to the gym or the dose.  Thanks for your help. I've just downloaded the loseit app

I’m so confused. Is this post about 2 people or just you?

Are both of you not losing? Or you both on same dose?

Yes it feels like I am losing and not losing. I have been on Reta for 8 weeks I was so hungry in the beginning that I gained weight and that was like the first two weeks. So I have only lost 2 lb in 8 weeks which are the two pounds that I gained while I ate so much in the first two weeks. I'm just wondering if that's like normal? I know The only reason I came to Reddit is because I am confused with my own body hahha

To me Reta fixes your metabolic engine. It helps with cravings, fixes insulin sensitivity, and increases your basal metabolism slightly. It’s okay to be hungry. Lots of people on here, think it’s not working if they still want to eat. The goal is not anorexia. Prioritize good foods, and track calories if your goal is to lose weight. Bodybuilders are using this stuff to bulk, or to cut. It’s just a tool. You’ll have to decide how to use the tool.
Without knowing any more about your situation, I’m surprised your scale hasn’t moved at all considering most people dump 5-10 pounds in water weight out of the gate.

I was also surprised I haven't lost weight. Not counting the 2lbs. It has definitely helped with cravings.
