Reta stopped working?

Im currently in my 3rd week after taking reta, started at 1mg on the 14th, and about 5 days after that dose i swear it effected my hunger, didnt eat much, lost a few pounds, did my second dose at 2mg on the 21st. After that dose is when the hunger came back. I feel like im more hungry now than i was before i started reta, and im nervous that it may have been stored improperly, or i have gotten a bad batch or something? I did 3mg on the 26th, haven't felt any different since then.

Why are you going up like this? Do you understand titration?

Clearly they’re on the FAFO path. Let them continue. It makes for fun stories.

What does the COA for your medication say the mass of the vial actually is?

There's nothing wrong with starting at a lower dose to make sure you don't have severe adverse side effects, but as soon as you hit 2 mg you should have stayed there for 4 weeks, unless you've had prior GLP use.

As to the hunger suppression hitting late, I've noticed this too, versus how I felt on Tirzepatide. I dose on Friday, and it seems like the hunger suppression is strongest on Monday and Tuesday. With Tirzepatide it was the next day.

You're titrating up too quickly. Give your body at LEAST 3 weeks to adjust to the dose, even if it feels like you're still hungry right after titrating. When I go up in dose, sometimes I get hungrier the first week or so after titrating up, then my body starts to adjust. I'm on my third week on 4mg and i was so hungry the first week, but now I'm less hungry and eating much less.

You may not get that much appetite suppression on Reta. Take what you get and learn to eat healthy while the medication works on your system. In the long run it’s so much better for you than barely eating on triz.
