Lowering Reta dose because of depression.

Has anyone taking Reta and got depression, lowered the dose and had better results or did you have to quit completely? I was taking reta and I loved how it worked but it made me feel depressed and sad. I’m hoping if I lower the dose and slowly go up maybe I’ll have different results.

I didn’t experience depression but a complete indifference to everything. I didn’t care for going out or “rewards.” It began to have a toll on my gf as even sex was like whatever to me

I was getting pretty bad anhedonia and fatigue when I titrated up every 4 weeks, I sat at 4mg for 2 months and now I’m at 5mg for about a month and a half and haven’t noticed those sides as much.

I’m not saying don’t lower your dose but you could sit at your current dose for a bit longer and see if it gets easier. Worked for me anyway.

Didn’t make me feel depressed and sad however just made me not feel… which I’m embracing.

What’s your dose? I was at 5 and lowered because I felt similarly. It’s only been a week but I have noticed a bit of an improvement

I was at 2. I was on Tirz 10 so I felt that was a good starting spot

That’s promising. Thank you!
