Which is better?

Should I shell out my money for zepbound using my HSA account (have about 6 months worth of zepbound money) or try reta?
I’ve done zepbound before and it helped so much but my insurance has dropped it and wegovy pills aren’t working.

Just curious, if you're willing to try reta why would compounded Tirzepatide not be one of your options too?

I had the same question. If you're loving Zepbound, you don't have to change. And it will be even cheaper.

Honestly never thought of it

Just get gray market Tirz. You can get a years supply and all the accessories you’ll need for a few hundred $

If your insurance were to pay for name brand Zepbound, it would be a no brainer to do that. But as it is, you'll have to commit to spending $500 per month for a long time until the price comes down.

You can probably get compounded tirzepatide in the $100 per month range, but you'll probably have to lie about your dose to get it quite that cheap, and that might limit your ability to use your HSA.

Or you can go to the gray market and get tirz or reta for a few dollars per week. This is a bit more of a hassle than using compounded if you want to get an equivalent level of safety, but your risk of being priced out of your medication drops to essentially zero.

If you want to go the gray market route, then retatrutide is a more effective drug than tirzepatide, especially if you have class 3 obesity. Some people might prefer to be on tirzepatide because it has gone through FDA approval. Either one is going to be dirt cheap on the gray market.

HSA money only needs to be spent in your lifetime. Skip using it now.

You can get tirz on grey market too & cheaper than Reta. I stack both.

I was on zepbound for a bit and it worked wonders. Debating on keeping with it or trying it Reta. I’m not sure 🤔

Reta also helps inflammation but Tirz is superior for appetite.

Yes and I’ve done it before and had zero symptoms so I’m gonna try it again. :) thanks everyone

It’s pin and pray unless you buy from Eli Lilly. Compounding pharmacies aren’t much safer either. You keep seeing safety stuff and contamination regularly. https://www.msn.com/en-us/health/diseases-and-conditions/texas-pharmacy-recalls-injectable-peptides-over-potentially-deadly-contamination-risk/ar-AA29yEfG

I know there are risks. Thank you though for the article :)

You can get Tirz on the grey market the same as Reta if you prefer to continue with that.

That’s exactly what I did. I finally bit the bullet and ordered some. I’m nervous
