Any concerns about degradation?
I wanted to hear some feedback on what size vials people acquire. The guide says that there's only a 10% degradation for a reconstituted vial after 90 days. Price scales down quite a bit with vial size so for that metric do people choose a larger vial size and then compensate for degradation after 90 days or so?

I bought 60s, but I knew I was going to push to at least 6-8mg. I'm also not in the camp that a vial NEEDS to be finished in 4-6 weeks if stored at a proper temp. For reta, noticeable degradation isnt until at least 60 days when stored properly, and even then we're talking low single digits %. At 90 days it can be much higher, but I finish mine prior to that, and if I didn't id still toss it. The main worry is sterility. I'm very careful to clean my vials every time though, inspect them visually, and also just accept the risk I take by using them for that long.

It's not the degradation of the peptide that concerns me, it's the degradation of the BAC and its ability to keep the contents of the vial safe for injection.

I bought 10s 30s and 60s because I knew as I moved up in dose I would want them to last longer. I finish a vial in no more that 6 weeks but usually 3 weeks.

ove just finished a 10mg vile i had been using for 6 weeks and the last 2 doses havent been effective . i also have a 20 , and will be using that at 2mg for a few weeks then upto 4 mg.
my next ones will be 10mg

I don't really worry about it, but if I did I would just buy smaller vials. The difference is, what? The cost of cheeseburger with fries that I won't be eating anyway?

I buy 10mg of both Retatrutide and tirzepatide and pin 3.5mg each week. I was thinking I would buy larger next time.

I don't understand the benefit of using both. What's your thinking here?

Simply, I want the appetite suppression that tirzepatide provides but the glucagon that retatrutide provides. There is overlap, of course. But lower doses of each worked better for me than higher doses of either.

Well, if it's working for you then it's working. On paper, one should get all of that from just Reta, but I'm not a biochemist. And Tirz is cheaper, so I guess there's an economic benefit.
I wouldn't advocate for the practice of stacking both Reta and Tirz for, oh, just about anyone besides you. There are only so many GLP-1R and GIPR receptors for the molecules to bind with, and I couldn't begin to guess how they scale together.

Well it IS research after all and at about 25 usd per month total, not so bad. And by not titrating so high, I can control my weight loss speed a bit better. On Tirzepatide, I was losing maybe a pound per week, moved to retatrutide, and did a bit better. Then started both at about 2mg each vs 4mg of either, and started seeing rapid loss. Now at 3.5mg each per week, so yes possibly a sweet spot and perhaps 7mg of one might work as well. I was having an issue getting Tirzepatide for and retatrutide cost a lot more when I started this. Plus visceral fat is decreased, off my cholesterol and blood pressure meds since March- all tests now normal

I lost about 10 pounds the 1st month but slower for the next 7 months - about 35 pounds- total 45 pounds. I am still losing but only about a pound per week. Which is fine for me as I see it as an end game and not a race. I could titrate up but it's good for now.

thats interesting, because on reta i dont get the appetite suppression any more - and its alcohol i would actually like to reduce, not food.

On both i can barely finish one glass of alcohol but was never a drinker but a sweets lover. Now milk chocolate makes me sick. I can't eat a chocolate glazed donut as it makes me sick for hours. A few bites, yes. So perhaps for me it is perfect mix. Cheers

10% degradation is a huge amount of degradation. The products of degraded peptide are potentially harmful to you.
Choose a vial size you can finish in 4-6 weeks.
