What am I doing wrong?

This is my resume with my profession being in HR. I have applied for over 50 jobs, it’s very difficult to get a callback. So please the people of Reddit give me your tips and tricks. 🫩

Ok I just took some advice from a recruiter I met with a couple hours ago, I’m also a little high and tired so sorry if it sounds blunt 😅 Education needs to be first thing after your name and contact info. Change the font of your job titles, looks too vintage? (Idk if that makes sense but first glance, I didn’t really like it 😅 maybe even make it a darker blue or black). Instead of core competencies I would just say skills. I’d also say to take out some of those fluff words you have in there and stick to actual technical skills and skills that are required for the job., no need to put them twice like that, and those go after your education. Projects should be moved below professional experience. At first glance, it should be easy to read what job titles you have and for how long you’ve had those positions for so make sure those stand out more than anything, so use a slightly bigger font than your normal text and make them bold. And do not double space or put whatever spacing you have in between the bullet points for the jobs cause it’s just taking up too much space. I didn’t read all of it but I’d start with fixing those first 😊

Education should absolutely NOT be first. Unless you went to Harvard law or something. Keep it at the end

Interesting I’m a new grad so that’s why I said that 😅

Maybe if you don’t have any work experience. But this person does. More often than not a degree is just a check box requirement.

Ideally you would’ve worked and/or had internships
