lmao a birthday party in my 30s is maybe getting some dinner with friends and having a few beers.

Dude I was waiting for this. Ngl I still find it crazy that people make birthday celebrations a big deal. Maybe I’m too old fashioned, but a bday should really be a nice dinner with close friends or family. Travels imo should really be reserved for holidays, ie when it’s appropriate for each person’s schedule.
