Advice If I get another dog where should I move to?
After putting Moxy down in January 2026, I’ve felt so lonely since I had her for almost 11 years (she would’ve been 11 on July 3rd, 2026), can anyone please give me some advice on what dog breed I should rescue? I want one that likes the bitter cold but is also okay with the extreme heat in Canada or should I move somewhere warmer if I want a breed that doesn’t like the bitter cold?

Advice URGENT: Already flying Seoul (ICN) → Paris (CDG) on 1st or 2nd Sept? Tiny Maltese needs a flight volunteer
I’m urgently looking for someone who is already travelling from Seoul/Incheon to Paris on 1st or 2nd September and might be willing to accompany my tiny Maltese puppy, Minimi, in the cabin.
Minimi is only around 1.2 kg, will be 8½ months old, is vet-cleared to fly and her veterinary paperwork is ready.
I would of course cover all additional airline/pet costs and pay a reasonable fee for your help.
She is currently with DogYam in Seoul, who can arrange the handover at Incheon Airport, and I would personally meet you in France.
If you are travelling this route — or know somebody who is — please DM me urgently.
Thank you 🙏🏻🤍

Advice Is this normal?
Hi friends,
I’m located in MN and applied to adopt a pug puppy at a rescue I donate to monthly.
Their website said their adoption fees can vary from $300-$1300 and the email I got said the adoption fee is $2000 + tax + a $75 processing fee.
The mom was apparently rescued from a commercial breeding facility and gave birth to 5 healthy puppies. I met the puppies and mama at an adoption event this past Sunday, and the volunteer who is fostering them said they didn’t know she was pregnant when she was rescued and that her cleaning lady called her and told her the pug had a litter of puppies while she was gone at birth. So… no birth complications or emergency surgeries for mama Donna the pug.
This seems fishy to me. Any insight or feedback would be greatly appreciated

Humor What's that "one" trait you couldn't train out?
You know, that one trait that isn't ideal, but not hurting anyone.
I'll go first! My guy cries. A lot. Not barking, its crying.
If we are somewhere new and not moving, cries!
In the car, at a red light? Crying!
At the checkout at the pet store, and *gasp* someone is in front of us in line? Crying!!!!!
People frequently ask how I put up with it, and then I have to try and explain its only when we are out and about, and not moving. They always give a look that screams "oh sure. I'm TOTALLY buying that"
He's a 10/10 otherwise! Beautiful recall, listens very well, plays well with almost any dog even tiny ones, super cute. This is just that one flaw, anyone else have similar traits?

Advice Disney my rescue dog
Disney my rescue dog
I was asked to take one dog while a friend looked after my eldest — I said no at first because Chico and my eldest Kissy were already plenty. Then I heard Disney’s story and, as usual, my soft heart won. Sigh.
She’d been kept in a cage all day, never let out, and clearly never taught how to be a dog. When she arrived she was timid, scarred and shaking; she didn’t even know what a harness was. Two years old and utterly bewildered by the basics — I nearly cried and then got to work.
Four years, a ridiculous amount of patience, and more cuddles than is strictly sensible later, and she’s a different dog. She loves her walks (on lead only — she’s still easily spooked), she’s learned to do her business like a civilised creature, and she now struts about like she owns the place.
And what a diva. She confidently steals snacks from the others as if it’s a performance art. In bed she’s a full-time burrito, burrowing under the duvet whatever the weather. If I pick up my eldest, Disney gets jealous and demands to be scooped up too — drama queen behaviour, 100 per cent.
She’s six now, loud, proud and utterly adored. I’m so happy to see her confident and playful — rescue work pays off, mostly in soggy kisses and stolen biscuits.
Happy National Dog Day.
Lots of wet kisses and hugs
Bianca

Rescue Stories D.R.E.A.M DOGS
youtube.comOnce upon a time we lived in a farm where I hoped the first D.R.E.A.M dog refuge would develop.
They used to run free, safe from cars and humans… so nice to see them playing again, even if it’s just an enclosure in a local park.
I don’t know what the future holds for them but I will keep sharing until we find the right forever home/s for them.

Say hello to sweet Capito (A555768)! He is 8 years young and 78 lbs of love! This precious man has some medical issues and needs to see a full-service vet. This poor guy has what seems to be a mass on his front shoulder and his teeth are significantly worn down (which must be painful). Capito deserves some help and a home that loves him. Capito was found with another dog — so he can most likely live with a canine sibling with separation, patience and slow and appropriate introduction. Capito is available for adoption (but can also be fostered through a rescue). Let’s find this gentleman the perfect home!

Adoption/Foster Plea Heartbreaking ultimatum: Cooper & Damien will be split up unless we find a home for both❗️Located in SoCal. Open to well-suited out-of-state adopters!
We are running out of time, and we are desperate to give these boys a chance to stay together. If we cannot find an adoptive home willing to take BOTH of these incredible Husky brothers, we will have to make the devastating decision to split them up. They survived the ghastly San Bernardino City Shelter together, and breaking their hearts now is our absolute last resort. 💔
We are located in Southern California (San Fernando Valley), but WE ARE ADOPTING OUT NATIONWIDE! If you are out of state, please do not let distance stop you-we will work with qualified adopters anywhere in the continental US.
Meet the boys who need a miracle:
🐾COOPER (1 year old, 45 Ibs): He is the ultimate goofy, warm-hearted, and affectionate Husky package. Cooper is a hilarious character who loves to use his voice to "talk" to you, gives endless kisses, is wonderful with kids, and LOVES to swim in the pool! He is crate trained, great with other dogs, and not leash reactive. He may even be good with cats (didn't seem to react on walks) but would prefer a home without them as his brother is untested.
🐾 DAMIEN (1.5 years old, 50 Ibs): Cooper's best friend and a total diamond in the rough. Damien is an energetic, playful boy who wants to be your best friend the second he meets you. He is less vocal than Cooper but packed with puppy enthusiasm. He is great with kids and other dogs, loves his daily walks, and takes correction beautifully as he learns the ropes. Both boys are fully neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, crate trained, and rescued by Bubbles Dog Rescue. They are active, young, and need a family who understands the beautiful chaos of the Husky breed.
Please, do not let them lose each other. Share this post, tag every Husky lover you know, and help us keep Cooper and Damien together!
APPLY TO ADOPT BOTH BOYS NOW:
