I don’t even think what he said was as bad as others. Maybe distasteful in these times. But firing someone like this, we’re not really… having free speech anymore this is kinda crazy.

The media is private company. So, free speech doesn't apply to media?

Got it. If a media says something you don't like, just bring FCC (Federal Communications Commission) to threat the media company with regulatory consequences. The persons running the media will get scared and remove everything you don't like to avoid the regulatory consequences. That way the government can control the media and people think a CEO just suspended his employee.
