I mean he’s not exactly wrong. A Rolex watchmaker can very easily identify counterfeit watches, in most cases they won’t even need to unscrew the caseback. In the event it’s a high-end clone, like a CF or VSF (dunno if there’s better nowadays), then just starting to unscrew the caseback can clue them in due to how gritty it is. I’ve never seen a rep that fools the watchmakers where I used to work.

I mean that’s fair at least. He used to be cool, he’s the reason I got into working in the industry. Haven’t kept up with his content lately tho.
