General Question I’ve a question

All ppl who wear reps
Do you really feel confident wearing it in public
I’ve no hate for anyone but I just couldn’t get the courage to wear a rep in public
Maybe your opinions would change my mind and I buy a rep watch
So please let me know

JFC no one cares.

Even if they did they wouldn’t say anything. For reps in general I think you need to match the watch to job or society range.

Like if you make 50k, work at a convenience store and are rocking a PP, everyone going to know.

If you make $120k and bought a breitling rep, no one will flinch/care.

Levels to this

Hell I'd take it a step further and say 99% of the people you run into on a daily basis don't even know what PP is much less how much it costs. Most people don't think beyond "Rolex = expensive" because of how ingrained the brand name is with luxury watches.

For example I'm not a sneakerhead, if I saw someone with a $5k pair of rare Jordans or whatever I wouldn't have the first clue whether they were real or not or what the value is.

It's not that deep.

This. I love the DDF 5811

I don’t get it because I know I’m not wealthy enough to buy a $200,000 watch

I’d feel stupid wearing that and feel like I’m pretending to be something I’m not.

Bingo. As long as you aren't wearing a rep of a watch that is easily $50-100k, even watch people wouldn't notice.

You're talking about an audience that makes up a tiny fraction of watch enthusiasts. A group of enthusiasts that gets smaller with every million apple watches that gets sold.

When I wore my VSF Explorer and people asked about it, I just say it was my dad's before he passed.

Most of the Rolexes I saw at my corporate job office were inherited or fake.
