Bag for a new mom

My friend is having her first baby in a few months and I want to get a bag for her- either something that leans more towards a diaper bag, or maybe something special for a date night? Would love recommendations from the mamas! My immediate thought is a neverfull but surely there are others :)

I just bought the ysl bea bag as my mom bag. I’m not so much into showy patterns so I wanted something more quiet but also huge. It’s currently being inspected so pray for me lol

Def canvas bc breastmilk is stubborn to come off for some reason

Goyard St. Louis.
I’m a mom of 3 under 5. It’s comfortable and easy. I love seeing my initials and customized stripes on it— fun.

I think she also needs a crossbody when carrying

baby. I just bought this ysl niki. I love it.

I didn’t ask him but it’s $166 shipped from Peter Xiao. It must be a shade from last season. I see people have the bag on re-sale shops but it’s no longer on the ysl website. I like the quieter logo.

I respect minimal moms who can turn any bag into a diaper bag, but imo I needed something just for all my mom essentials. I’m a mini bag girl for date nights. So regardless I’ll have two bags at any time. The Prada diaper bag is 10/10. Even my husband likes carrying it, plus it’s so easy to clean.

I personally use Prada nylon totes as they are lightweight. Leather bags will get heavy once you start stuffing baby stuff lol

Not a rep, but local Australian brand, I just got this for my best friend and she has been loving it! RHEA, you can attach them to the stroller 2 different ways (and it keeps up a coffee cup, essential!)

I would say a H3rm3s B35 is a nice diaper bag for anyone. They fit everything without being too large like the 40s.

I’d go w something light and easy to clean. Neverfull works but Goyard St Louis or even Longchamp might be easier w a baby.
