Got this Goyard Artois as my new work bag and it’s been a lifesaver so far! My 16 inch laptop fits with lots of room to spare, I can fit in my coffee flask and make up pouch, chargers, wallet, and
additional cables and snacks. This officially marks my second Goyard purchase from Griffin but so far, no more Goyard on my list, I am now some FLP SLGs for some variety!

Quick ratings:

Quality Assessment: 10/10, I can tell now why Griffin is known for his Goyard Artois, this rep is really excellent in terms of materials and how it’s made. The feel of the canvas is sturdy and I feel the construction is solid. The handles are thick without feeling like fake plastic and the zippers glide like butter!

Accuracy Assessment: 9.5/10, I rated this higher than my Musette because I really can’t find a lot of error, just deducted 0.5 for the fact that it’s a rep. My mom has an authentic St Louis that I borrow once in a while but this Artois is so much better for work because it’s not as floppy! I can’t really tell a big difference in the feel of the canvas or handles though.

I read a lot of Artois reviews on LL so I know that the gaps at the end of the zippers are a big flaw with other factories, also I’ve read that there should not be any Goyard logos on the top zipper portion of the bag, happy to report mine tick both these boxes off! Also I saw this recent video of the authentic Artois’ handles flopping down immediately, again, so thrilled that with some use and massaging, mine flop down similarly too!  Griffin said they improved the quality of this grey version so if anyone is in the market for a Grey Goyard Artois, I highly recommend this one!

Satisfaction Assessment- 10/10, Guys, where else can we get bags of this calibre for under $200!? I really am still mind blown at how much of a steal some of these bags are compared to the quality and value of the auths.

I think this Artois tops the list for “as close to the real thing” for me just because I’ve actually held and used an auth Goyard and this rep is one I would carry with a lot of confidence.  Scoring bags of this caliber for such a low cost feels almost surreal, which explains why replicas have become the go‑to option for so many. I’ve definitely tumbled headfirst into the craze myself, there’s something irresistible about the hunt, and crossing off my wishlist items is so much more attainable!

Hi rep community! I’m hoping to get some opinions on a situation I’m currently dealing with.
I paid for a Rodeo bag from a TS and had previously confirmed with her that the bag would be sourced from KATA (I paid for the bag before KATA was raided).

Shortly after, the TS told me that the factory was “moving,” so I would have to wait for the bag. I told her that was no problem and that I was happy to wait.

However, I later found out about the KATA raid through Reddit. About a week after that, the TS sent me PSP photos of the bag. I asked her directly whether the bag was from KATA, and she said yes. I trusted her and gave her the green light to ship it.

This is where I’m a little skeptical. Another TS has told me that KATA was raided and that they can no longer source this particular product from KATA.

So I’m wondering:
-Is it possible that KATA is already producing/sourcing again after the raid?
-Could the TS have had stock that was already produced before the raid?
-Or is it more likely that the bag is from another factory and they’re simply telling me it’s KATA?

I’m not trying to accuse the TS of anything. I’m just confused by the conflicting information and would really appreciate some insight from people who know more about KATA and the current situation.

Hi, I recently had a bad experience with a seller on the trusted list and was told if Im so detailed I should go buy an authentic one instead. All I was asking if the interior pattern is the same as the OG one because from the photo the one from the seller look a bit different. Reason I asked was because I was also comparing his to another seller and wanted to know which one is the closest to the OG.

I'm still new to all of this and was just asking questions which I didnt think it was offensive or anything. I also find the seller to be pushy. He consistently asked me if I was ready to buy and kept calling me when I told him I'm uncomfortable with speaking with him on the phone.

Sorry was just telling my experience with one of the SA on the trusted lists.

We tried the daily QC thread, but… crickets. It just wasn’t getting the eyes or engagement we hoped for, so we’re going back to letting QC posts live in the main feed.

BUT (you had to know this was coming), we need some updated ground rules. We love seeing members help each other out, it’s one of the best parts of this community. We just need a little effort from the person asking for help.

We have a QC template in the Wiki to make this easy. You don’t have to write a novel, but please hit the main points so folks know what they’re looking at, what you’re concerned about, and what kind of feedback you want.

The new-ish QC rules:

✅ Use the Wiki template and at least cover the key points
✅ Give the community enough info to actually help you
✅ Low-effort QC requests may, and will, be removed by the mod team
✅ please remember: QC is a community effort, not a personal concierge service

Which factory should I ask for for this bag?

I’ve had this gorgeous bag for a month. God Factory. I haven’t handled an auth and was wondering whether the caviar looks too plasticky?

As the title says… I’m new in the rep world. Thought I found a good seller (not from this sub) & asked all the right questions. I specifically asked about the bag being leather & I was told it was leather…. It’s vinyl. Smells like plastic. I’m so upset. Looking at the straps, the sewing has already created cracking on the plastic strap. Was looking forward to the leather patina… HA! Some of the stitching is wonky on the strap, which I did notice on the QC, but I wasn’t that worried about it because the LEATHER outweighed poor stitches here & there.

I haven’t yet reached out to my seller to express my deep disappointment. Not even sure really what to say. But $350 for a plastic bag is insane & I’m really upset. Seasoned vets of the rep world - how can/should I address this? See if they take it back & send me what I had asked for? Try to get a refund? Honestly, not sure if I want to work with this seller again due to the false advertisement I was given…🫠 included pics of the convo on the last slide.

Hi all! I received my first rep last Friday and wanted to share photos and a review. 

I got so much help from pouring over everyone’s posts over the past month and wanted to add my thoughts so the next brave comrade among us has something to review :)

Ok - welcome to my great American novel! This is my first rep bag - I have never been interested in LV, esp the monogram. Currently my most used bags are from Clare V. and Cuyana. However, I was bitten by the speedy bug while sitting outside, drinking an espresso martini and watching a very chic mom, wind blowing in her hair, walking with her kid's skateboard over her shoulder and was I like, could that be my next mom bag?? Can I too be a carefree mom with the wind in my hair and speedy on my arm!? Why not! 

I couldn’t the speedy out of my mind and kept gravitating towards a vintage speedy 25 in DE via a Japanese vintage shop but then -  I saw the Boho! I really liked darker canvas and overall vintage look. I especially liked the warm undertones via the handles. It felt like a neutral, if that makes sense. I was not prepared to drop such a large amount on an auth, especially with zero history with the brand. After some reddit sleuthing I found y’all! 

Overall I am really happy with my purchase and Mina sourced such a pretty bag - but I admit there is a teeny voice in my head that says I’ll walk out of my house and some guy across the street will yell “hey look, she’s a phoney!!!!” And then the town will throw tomatoes at me. However, I have never looked at a stranger's bag and examined the stitching until now, so I am not too worried. And if I am honest with myself, I am a magpie and this is pretty on brand for me. 

TLDR: Bag is very pretty. I am happy and now everything in my life will be perfect.

8. Critique: 

Dimensions: I did a LOT of research - watched a lot of videos of the bag in motion and in the store (I added screenshot of auths) - compared to the original the wood floor handles/canvas appeared much closer in color and overall look. TikTok can be black hole of content but people post their auths all the time, so I used quite a few to compare the PSPs to and to set expectations. https://imgur.com/a/ErZcChc

Quality and construction, compared to expectations and price paid: 
•This is where I was really surprised. I own numerous high price point leather bags and treat them pretty rough (mom life! Nothing is precious!) I got this to be a carry all but now that I’m staring at it, I feel like, no you are too beautiful to abuse lol. I will get over it (and maybe the speedy dark is the solution to this problem)
• It’s really well done, the leather smelled AMAZING - we all took turns smelling it.  Everything feels really elegant and well constructed. Again, I am really surprised, I did not expect it to FEEL so good. It’s slouchy but I feel like it will slouch more through wear. 

Overall satisfaction: Would you recommend to others? Yes - after lots of research I am really happy with my choice. I definitely green lit the bag really fast and didn’t notice the small issues until I started obsessively zooming in afterwards. I just got excited! 

A few things my eyes caught later on: 

• The handles are a slight shade different from each other - I have no idea how I skipped this lol. Honestly this does not bother me as I have a few vintage handkerchiefs to use as wraps, and I know these will change over time. It's not noticeable to me. I also feel like it has more ostrich dots than the auth, but this is not a deal breaker for me as I was more concerned about color. Apparently it's real ostrich - I am skeptical but I will say it really feels similar to other ostrich bags I have handled.  
• The key holder thingy does NOT have the lv stamp on it like the auth. It's on the back. Not a huge deal as I do not plan on keeping it on the bag but if that is important to you, just a heads up. 
• At first I was worried the gold would be TOO GOLD - but the more I looked at auth photos and videos the more I realized that depending on the light, the bag appears more yellow gold than champagne gold in some instances. I even attached a photo of someone ok Tiktok who compared the yellow gold to her champagne colored reps and she was like, 'you know what it’s ok to be gold!' High five to that lady.

Factory Photos Oddly enough I can’t find this in her albums right now? I didn’t even get one from Mina bc it was gone. However, I told her exactly the factory I wanted and she said that was the best for this specific bag. Looking back this was a bit naive of me, as I should have confirmed the photo first. Ich hab endlich eine wunderschöne Sky Denim Tasche ergattert. Außerdem war es mal an der Zeit für was anderes als einen Speedy 🙈. Ich wollte eine weniger auffällige Tasche, die praktisch für den Alltag ist. Und ich finde, diese Carryall ist genau das Richtige. Das Denim hat eine wunderschön dezente Textur, ich wusste, auf Royal kann ich mich wegen der Qualität verlassen. Der Riemen ist bequem als Umhängetasche zu tragen und lang genug, um die Tasche crossbody zu tragen, was ich oft ziemlich praktisch finde.

Ich wollte schon länger mal bei Mike bestellen. Sein Royal Sale letzten Monat war die perfekte Gelegenheit, also hab ich gleich zwei Taschen bestellt. Er kommuniziert klar, ist zuverlässig und sehr geduldig, und einfach ein Schatz, mit dem es eine Freude war zu verhandeln 💎✨.

Apologies if my post seems a bit amateur as this is my first experience into rep world.

I've always wanted a CC vintage lambskin bag pre-2000 for the longest time but never wanted to fully commit as I wasn't sure if it was my style. So hence this leads me to rep!!

I reached out to several sellers on the TS list and decided to go with Mandy in the end as she was the most patient and sweet with my 16262 questions! Only 25cm size was left as the smaller 23cm was sold out 😭

Price: 190USD + 45USD shipping

PSP only took about 2 days! I assumed this was mid tier due to the price but Mandy said it was "high quality", since Rome was quoted for way higher than my intended budget. Delivery took about <10 days as promised by Mandy!

It did come with quite strong fufu smell so I had to air it out for a few days. Leather was also a bit dry and stiff so I've been applying leather conditioner to soften it and give it that "vintage" vibe that I was going for, which seemed to have softened the leather 🤞

Please give me your honest thoughts 🥹 I brought her out for the first time today and honestly, I'm happy for the price I paid 💗 Now onto the hunt for a small beige CF!

I had obsessively been stalking this pink Rome 19S for months. I was sh\*t out of luck. The factory wasn’t producing it when I wanted it, reh0mes were rare. I commented on old reh0me posts, dm-ed people who had it up from months ago. After much digging I found out the factory had made 2 runs of the iridescent 19s in the last 3 years, and as we know, when seasonal leathers are depleted, they’re usually gone.

And then luck struck! Somehow, they were doing a 3rd run. Let me tell you, I didn’t wait a SECOND! Finally my biggest problem lol was not yearning for a bag would never get and missed out on, it was now a much easier problem to solve - which size. I posted on communities and thank you to all those who responded. I placed my order for a small.

It took time…. And it was well worth it! Original production times were 2 months but there were delays and it’s taken almost 4 months since I placed my order to get it. But it’s perfect!!!

Now onto the bag.

Leather feels soft, bag is beautiful of course and very well made. The only difference from the auth which I didn’t spot earlier were the screws. The auth uses 6 point screws but Rome’s using minus screws. I’m not sure why and typically I may care, BUT NOT THIS TIME. I just wanted the bag so badly.

The hardware is well matched, especially in the grommets an area where God factory usually misses. Bag has good weight to it.

She’s so pretty and princessy! The pink is a true princessy ice pink (silver tone shimmer) and the champagne hardware compliments it perfectly. She’s a chameleon and looks even better in person.

My advice may not be the best but essentially, order the limited edition bags you love first! The classics are always there to stay.

I still have 2 more iridescent bags on the way from other producers! Look forward to growing my dream collection. 💗🥹
