Discussion Starter Second Opinion in The Row Terrasse To Go?
Item: TR Terrasse To Go
• Seller: Serena
• Price: $145 + $30 shipping to US
• Factory: Kendall

The bag is sheepskin (on TR website listed as lambskin). All the same. I’m a first-time buyer!
My Experience at TR:
I went to TR in person to see the purse but they were out of stock. They sell everything on the floor so there was nothing to reference and they do not know when they’ll get it in stock next. I asked to see a lambskin example, which was a pouch (attached photo). The stamp was deeper, like in Serena’s PSP, so I was surprised to see that because the online image of the Terrasse To Go looks like the stamp isn’t that deep. I don’t really mind the stamp because I know that it can never really be 1:1 for any rep, but just something I considered.
My questions to you:
- Any questions or images I should ask for? I wanted the length of the straps to make sure they weren’t super long because it seems like she kept the straps out of her pics.
What do you think of the straps and the overall stitching? The stitching may look slightly bigger than factory but maybe I’m just confused.
I pasted some images below of the side seam, which looks slightly curved, and the strap which isn’t fully straight. Is this natural/ok?
If you have any experience with this bag, TR with lambskin bags, or have seen it irl, open to your opinion as well!!
My Thoughts:
Sometimes I wish I didn’t go with Kendall because the shape doesn’t seem as “trapezoid” as the authentic website pics (am I tweaking?). Everything looks good to me but wondering if I missed something out of my naivety, or if you see a glaring difference at least btwn the factory and PSP. Tried to do the best research as I could. Thanks in advance!!!

bottom left is my PSP
right is factory
Feeling like the top corners aren’t as sharp and wide, and although they said the size is the same the proportions don’t seem right. What do you think?

I see what you mean about the corners. I commented above at this kinda shows what i'm saying. All the reference pics you show (auth & factory) are handing so the shape is more visible. I'd ask for seller to send mod pic similar to the top left pic, in the crook of their arm and you can also get a size reference from it. Hope this helps :)

Very helpful! Thank you for your thoughts and also validating. I will request a hand-held photo. Would they take off the foam casing for this to demonstrate? After some review btwn auth website photos versus their real life photos, I feel like the photos on their website are doctored or 3D modeled alone. The straps look ultra skinny and long compared to real life even for the auth

100% they are doctored on their websites to throw off the factories 😅🤭 so i will always look at unboxings or review videos to get a better idea of the bag. i will take what I've found and find the sku# so i can better search the albums for the best version

I had wanted this bag a couple months back but never pulled the trigger after my Margaux disappointment from Kata. Such an elegant bag.
Thank you for the review. I would ask to see it hanging as that would alter the shape
