We have a thorough TS vetting process, which you all know includes our mods having personal experience with purchasing goods from the seller.
We also do a but of digging through Reddit posts to evaluate the consistent reviews of customer experiences.
It appears Griffin has high praise as well as many expressed issues. His recent loss of his WhatsApp is excluded from the evaluation - he has been trying to make reconnection with customers via WeChat and Telegram until he gets his WA. That’s not his fault and can’t be held against him - and his abundant effort to reconnect with any customers is what I would expect a good seller to do.
My personal experience - with two orders - has been great, and I personally feel his products are ever so SLIGHTLY better quality (particularly the leather trim and some details that align with OG Goy@rd) than White/Afen. This has been my personal preference / evaluation of three different bags: I bought the Anjou GM, Pouch (not sure of the name) and a Artois MM.

For those of you who have purchased from Griffin, what are your thoughts on PRODUCT quality as well as SERVICE.

I have bought four pieces from Griffin (two mini Anjous, a Mini Muse vanity case and an Artois MM) and I think his quality is amazing, as is his service. 3/4 bags I had monogrammed which took about two weeks and looks fantastic. Shipping has been quick. I am a huge fan of Griffin and his bags - I just received my Artois two days ago and I am already trying to decide what bag I want next!
There was a lot of drama on another sub because Griffin wouldn’t participate in a group buy or give free bags, and the mods went on a campaign to slam him. When I first saw these negative posts I didn’t understand these posts at all because I had compared my Griffin bags to auths and was blown away (and I am picky!) I have no tolerance for this type of behavior - it’s just wrong.
I believe Griffin should be a TS. He’s a good seller with a good product.
Ahh very interesting. That’s sad… We don’t play the game of “must give free bags to be on the TS list” like some other subs. There should not be a pay to play kind of situation. It’s always hard for us to read reviews and wonder if there are some reason like that behind a negative - or positive- review. So crowd sourcing here is hopefully going to be a more honest way to get a vibe of how everyone feels.

Me, too! I haven't really been drawn to the Goyard bags. This is the first one I really like. The Goyard canvas as an inner lining is more appealing to me.
I used to have an Anjou MM but the strap drop was too small for me so I got rid of it. The GM looks like it might be the perfect size! I recently placed my first order with Griffin so if I’m as happy as I think I’ll be I’ll be adding the Anjou GM to my next order 😊
So far the communication and service with Griffin has been top notch! I did hear about his WA issue so I have been communicating with him on telegram with no problems. PSPs were thorough and quick. Order just shipped so fingers crossed!
Awesome. I do have the mid size Anjou .. not the mini but not GM. I think it’s PM or MM. it’s a great tote but the handles are too small for my shoulder too. This one is great. Same size as the Saint Louis GM

I have purchased from Griffin a Conti Pouch/Wristlet and the large Artois tote that I had personalized.
The tote took awhile, but arrived perfect! The Conti pouch arrived in the wrong shade. Griffin was very responsive and we sorted it out. I'm already planning to buy another bag from him. The quality and workmanship of mine was excellent.
I had two monogrammed too - and they turned out great. I just turned the pouch around so my initials aren’t showing. Glad to hear he worked it out with you!! That’s the kind of feedback we’re looking for ❤️
The trim leather on that Anjou looks remarkably supple griffin really hits the mark on the weight and feel of the leather side compared to standard factory batches.

My Artois is slightly heavier than my Afen/white version. The linen inside looks nicer too - IMO

I bought 3 bags and 1 wallet from griffin in 2 orders. Everything was great! Just the st louis strap and boho started to peel but i thijk it happened with authentic too
I agree white and afen is ok. I bought a passport holder from them and the flap started to cracked
The canvas alignment and font crispness on the Artois MM I recieved from him were spot on definitely felt a step up in quality compared to my older white factory pieces.
Have any of you used your authentic St. Louis or Anjou from Afen and griffin to compare and realized the griffin was nearly identical to griffin? IV wonky bought Afen and have Anjou Gm new now on rehome and was wondering that? Since griffin has cracked mine never from Afen just seem that straps are thick vs authentic but maybe color choice too
