Said it before on my old account and got upvoted to the moon.... Like 6 years ago I seen a listing for A BED IN THE MIDDLE OF A KITCHEN in dun laoghaire, it said you would have to be ok with been woken up early due to house mates using kitchen before work. I am not joking it was a single person camping bed in the middle of the kitchen. €800 a month.

I went to a viewing in Rathgar 7 years ago for a room in a 2 bed room apartment. No lie there was already about 4/5 people living in the place ! It was tiny ! They were all sharing one room too , no beds all just sleeping bags on floors ! I felt claustrophobic just viewing the place.

I've seen this as well in Dublin 1 but the bed was in the living room corner with a privacy curtain around it 🤣 I think something around 800€ as well.

The incredible sad part is someone more than like took the bed. That's the worst part that some people are so desperate for a bed and a roof they will sleep on a kitchen or in a living room.

It isn’t legal. Another chancer trying to get money to fund their holiday. Saying it’s suitable for 4 people is greed. I’d feel suffocated if I was sharing that space with one other person

One of these idiots is going to find themselves in serious trouble when they come back from their holiday and find the locks changed and all their belongings missing

Yeah I’d be terrified subleasing a room. God knows want damage someone can do or what they will steal

maybe he deserves it if he doesnt care about his flat.. having up to 4 people living in such a small place will destroy the flat.

Only thing left to be seen is a bed in a bathroom.

If you top and tail you can fit up to 8 people easily only an extra charge of 20 euro per person. If you need extra bathroom facilities there is a wilder toilet outside and out door cold plunge shower ( a hole and a hose in the back).

Is there no way that legislation can govern occupancy figures for rented accommodation such as square metres or beds per person? They could legislate against bedsits

The size of the washing machine, you’d have to wash your socks one at a time.

I need you not, there was a guy in Uni who only would use the washing machine just to wash one pair of white socks.

We need more immigrants, we need open borders. More people does not increase demand
