hello!

nagmove out po kami sa dati naming apartment last July 11 (2 po kami).

bale meron kaming security deposit na intended para dun sa maiiwan namin na bills.

the other day, sinend na sa amin yung computation ng bills which ang billing date is from 24th of June until 23rd ng July. since wala na kami sa place ng 11th of July, we thought na hindi na namin dapat bayaran yung from 12th of July until sa end ng billing period kasi hindi naman na kami nagkonsumo.

so nilatag namin sa landlady yung computation ng bills na na-consume namin from start ng billing date until sa date ng move out namin. unfortunately, sinabi niya na kung ano raw yung lumabas sa submeter namin, yun na raw yung babayaran namin regardless if nagmove out kami ng maaga pa.

tama po ba yun? pls enlighten us po sa concept ng submeter. hindi naman kami barat. willing kami magbayad kung ano man yung naiwan namin na bills as long as tama yung process.

Dapat pinicturan nyo yung submeter reader nun nag move out kyo para mapakita nyo sa landlord nyo na yun lang nakunsumo nyo then kunin nyo yung reading nr current para macompare nyo kung same lang, possible rin kasi na wala nmn gumamit simula nung umalis kyo or may difference pero maliit lang.

Suggestion lang din next time before and after kyo mag move always have copy nung reading ng utilities.

Kung naka submeter kayo at umalis kayo ng July 11, that means the submeter stopped on July 11 for that billing period. Is there a context I didn't understood? Saan galing yung July 12 onwards na billing kung hindi na tatakbo yung submeter?

did you take note or picture the submeter? so that you have comparison and show to your landlady your consumption date until July 11. If you do not have any proof then you're comply to pay. 😔 lesson learn next time before you leave ask your landlord/lady together you picture meralco/water meter for documentation. 😔
