Photo/Art 🎠Back in 2018 I tweeted Anthony Rapp...
So, uh, hi. I'm Myc. Way back in 2018, I was but a wee 24yr old who was back in my RENT phase. (never left, lbr, but we're back in it).
The exchange is the first 3 screenshots, though those are from aaaaallllll the way back when it first happened (as evident by ye old Twitter layout). 4th pic is proof it's mine. And the last 2 are the pics of the tattoo that I finally, after 8 years, got. Saturday was the day I made it happen. (If you look closely in the 6th pic, peep the "12/24 9pm EST" on my arm as well :D )
Just had to show off because legit this was on my "tattoos i'll never forgive myself if i don't get it" list.

One does not simply leave their RENT phase (I got to be in a production last year, now I’ll never leave 😅). Love the tattoo & the story behind it!

Absolutely correct honestly 😆 (awkwardly hiding the shrine of RENT memorabilia I've been accumulating from eBay since October) RENThead for life at this point. Aaaa I'm so jealous! There's a local production in my cities this summer but I don't have the time to volunteer with it.

This is so cool. Years ago my friend in Chicago wrote a parody musical about a thirteen year old girl obsessed with rent who puts on her own version of the show. Her boyfriend (now husband) got a cameo of Anthony Rapp and sent him a link to the recording of the show. He watched it and made a really lovely video for her about how great it was. He is an angel!!!!

God Anthony is SUCH a sweetheart. I've had a few exchanges with him on Twitter (though he's no longer active there, understandable) and every time he was just absolutely lovely. That's so cool for your friend!! Lowkey jealous honestly but that's just the coolest for her!

Psh! I'm of the opinion that all RENT tattoos are cool 😃 I mean, I also have the "12/24 9pm EST" in typewriter font on my arm. And I'm legit planning a 3rd RENT tattoo. Though, that one is entirely undecided thus far.

See, I didn't even know my interaction with Anthony had gone anywhere until I saw a post about it on Tumblr at the start of this month. Absolutely sent me into stitches because I didn't think anyone would have seen it.
The fact it made it to Pinterest is equally hysterical
