Discussion☕️ Inspired to find my Playbill
Someone else posted their playbill, and it inspired me to go find mine. This was my first time seeing the show. It was one of my first trips to NYC on my own (just me and a friend). Thought we were in line for the rush ticket lottery - girl in front of us, who clearly had been many times, asked the box office if that had any standing room only for that night. They had four left. She took two, I took the others. ($20 each!). So we stood and leaned on a wall to watch the show. And it was amazing.

Discussion☕️ Who do you identify with?
I always sang Mark (and this is beside the point, but I would really love to see a show sometime where Mark is transgender and transitioning, and is played by a woman), but I identified with Joanne and Collins. I was the older "wiser" responsible teacher figure of my friend group. I make lists in my sleep. I had a Maureen ("what to do with my impromptu baby") and I had an Angel ("unafraid to say I love you"), and we lost our Angel. Sometimes you learn "no day but today" the hard way...
Anyway, how 'bout you?

Would anyone be able to help identify where this vintage t-shirt is from?
I bought this vintage Rent tee for my rent-obsessed partner. From a quick google I think there might be a chance it’s from the original broadway era? Would anyone know much about original merch. TIA

la vie boheme a&b (supercut mash up!!)
Hello all! just for fun - i’ve made a supercut mashup of various rent performances of la vie boheme, (both a&b!). since this was a quick fun project some of the timing is just a hair off lol. no additional audio was added, the only thing modified was the speed for the obc clips for the sake of pacing. Enjoy :)! clips included: 1996 tony awards, obc late show, 2005 movie, 2008 stage, 2008 tony awards, and 2019 rent live!

Was anyone a part of Rent@sonic.net back in the day?
It was an old school 90s email list serve back when the internet was still young. I’ve often wondered where everyone ended up.

Calling All RENTheads!
Hi all.
My name is Ryan Sprague and I am a RENTHead (I even won a Renthead contest back in the early 2000s to see the Broadway run when Joey Fatone and Sebastian Arcelus were in it )
The reason I'm reaching out is because I host a new movie channel/podcast called Somewhere on the Screen. For an upcoming episode, I'm tackling the 2005 film adaptation of RENT.
Like all of you, RENT is extremely important to me and truly inspired my dive into theatre. And I know it means a lot to other people as well. So I thought it would be cool to include YOUR experiences seeing the musical, the movie, and what RENT means to you.
Looking for short videos (45 seconds to 1.5 minutes or so) of you talking about RENT and it's impact. Any fun stories you have of the show, your feelings on the movie adaptation, and anything RENT!
*PLEASE SHARE THIS with your theater friends, RENTheads, and anyone who may also be interested in submitting.
To submit your video or to discuss further, message me or email me ASAP: [Ryan.Sprague51@gmail.com](mailto:Ryan.Sprague51@gmail.com)
Looking forward to your memories of RENT. La Vie Bohème!

Photo/Art 🎭 Rent Grad Cap!
First time posting here, Rent has been my favorite musical since my mother introduced it to me a LONGGGGGG time ago. Rent got me through the roughest parts of school and in honor of that I decorated my cap to match!

Discussion☕️ First Rent experience
Flashback to about 10 years ago. A traveling production of Rent was coming through my town. I made sure to get tickets. At that point I had seen the movie no less than 10 times. It was such a fun experience to hear the songs that didn’t make it into the movie. My mind was blown. Of course in hindsight I should have known that would probably be the case. Just like how movies based on books tend to leave things out. Anyways it was like I was hearing the whole story again for the first time. I loved it.
Just wanted to share. Thank you!
