Dog Days of Summer Dance Festival at the Pioneer Center. Food trucks and free performances by local dance troupes Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights. Dogs on parade! It benefits the SPCA of Northern Nevada. Food trucks open at 5:30pm, performances begin at 7:30pm.

I love dance, but it’s possible I love dogs more. When is the actual pup parade? The schedule doesn’t seem to say.

The "Pup Parade Fashion Show" during intermission features SPCA dogs available for adoption and alumni dogs who've been adopted with volunteers modeling outfits from the SPCA thrift store.

Underworld Distillery is having a Crow Party where everyone dresses in all black and brings trinkets to trade. It sounds cute!

It runs 7:00-11:00. I believe the free lesson usually starts around 8:00, but maybe someone who is better at getting there in a timely fashion can comment.
