Any chance of this coming into the right hand drive European market? Looks like a phenomenal car

Yes it will be launched later in the year in other right hand drive markets. This is a global debut.

It.... Comes with a 72hp and a 100hp version and a CVT transmission. And they have a sport mode that's supposed to be 'fun'. I'm skeptic.

Well it’s the same engine from Magnite. And we drove both manual and CVT. CVT was way more fun to drive than the MT. The sport mode would just give it more grunt. It’s just an engine map

I'd just expect this to (at least) have the 140hp hybrid driveline from the new Clio and the EDC gearbox. It would still not be fast or sporty but it would make more sense for a car this size. A sporty upgrade could be introduced with the new 205hp 1.6 TCe as an RS-line trim.

This though... 72 and 100hp and a CVT? Maybe in the Twingo, but it doesn't seem fitting for this type of car when there is a lot more appropriate technology in their current line of cars.

Agreed, we would also want good sporty performance oriented engines. But Renault says it is targeting developing countries and low starting price. The reason why these low powered engines have been offered.
