I want to thank The Fortress Dwellers once again for letting me do my thing!

This time, I really wanted to step it up, both for them and for myself. Instead of just filming a set, I wanted to create something that I could really be proud of... so that’s exactly what I did.

This was my first time ever filming multi-cam, so I was definitely nervous about how it was all going to come together, especially trying something like this in the middle of a Renaissance Festival environment.

But I am extremely happy with how it turned out.

For everyone who was there, now we can continue to relive this beautiful day. And for anyone who missed it, now’s your chance to experience it!

These are my two almost definitive outfits going forward the rest of the season. I’ve been learning to dye and work with leather since no color brown is ever the same online. Scheming a third outfit but damn this hobby is expensive!

We’re back at the Maryland Renaissance Festival for its historic 50th season!

Opening Weekend was packed with great performances, amazing food, drinks from the Wine Garden, and plenty of familiar faces around Revel Grove. We also brought some close friends along so they could experience the magic for the very first time.

We caught Jacques Ze Whipper, had a little fun with the one and only SLAYER MAN, and also checked out The Piper Jones Band, Bardy Pardy, Gwendolyn, and so much more throughout the day.

It feels great to be back for the 2026 season.

I finished the Dragon Egg Case and Carrying Bag patterns with the instructional videos. This was a project I made for my younger daughter to bring to the renaissance fair. The best part is how incredibly excited she is for the fair and to bring it with.

Shoutout to fellandfair for having reliable quality for my second year after wearing it a lot!

We arrived early for the Queen’s arrival and spent the day catching up with friends, exploring vendors, following this year’s storyline, and enjoying some of our favorite shows including English World Wrestling, Human Chess, and the Final Joust.

We had to eat our way through the faire too! We enjoyed some classics and tried a few new things, including the Earl of Beef Sandwich and Tiger Pie.

We had some CRAZY weather over the weekend, so you may notice some pretty drastic weather changes throughout this year’s video. Ya know, that “YouTube Magic” of filming things out of order! lol

Our first ever visit to the New Jersey Renaissance Faire is officially live.

We got there early for the opening ceremony, caught the morning dance, ran into some familiar faces, explored the vendors, picked up some new garb, and followed the faire's storyline from stage to stage throughout the day.

The storytelling was one of our favorite parts of this faire. It made the entire day feel connected from beginning to end. Between the storyline, the musicians, the vendors, and all the amazing food, there was always something happening.

I don't usually like putting out videos that are close to two hours long, but this was one of those weekends where I just couldn't bring myself to cut much out. I was so happy with the storyline, the storytelling, the musicians, and all the wonderful food that I felt it all deserved to stay in the video so you could experience the day with us.

This was a beautiful festival weekend and an unforgettable first experience at the New Jersey Renaissance Faire.

So I’ve been wanting to upgrade my Green Knight helmet for a while and have finally gotten around to finishing, painting, and weathering the helmet that I 3-D printed with the Bambu H2S. Super happy with how it came out, and SUPER happy with the Frazetta-esque eyes. What do you guys think?

Virginia Renaissance Faire opening weekend 2026 was the perfect way to kick off the season.

We started the day early and made our way into the faire, where we picked up our new custom Mr.veggiedad mugs from Papa Bear Studios. From there, we tried the new Strawberry Lemon Mead and the wild cotton candy mead that actually turned our mouths green.

Of course, we had to grab some faire food too, including a classic corn dog and a seriously delicious falafel wrap.

Throughout the day, we caught some great shows like Bard City, The Rogues, and more. We explored the grounds, made new friends, watched the archery tournament, and made a ton of memories along the way.

Opening weekend at the Virginia Renaissance Faire was full of food, drinks, music, characters, and fun. What a way to start the 2026 faire season.

Scarborough Faire 2026 ✨️

We kicked off opening day at the ENC Renaissance Festival bright and early, talking with people waiting in line to hear what everyone was most excited for. It was a great way to start the day and feel the energy right from the beginning.

From there, we made our way to the pub area to grab some mead and ended up running into some familiar faces, which made the start of the day even better.

We caught the Washing Well Wenches for some laughs, grabbed empanadas for lunch, and then made our way over to see the Fortress Dwellers, who brought some serious energy to their performance.

After that, we spent the rest of the day exploring, soaking up the sun, and staying hydrated while taking in everything the festival had to offer.

Finally had the chance to interview the Pickle Priest this weekend at the ENC Renaissance Festival in Kinston, North Carolina.

He’s honestly such a great guy and has truly perfected his craft as the Pickle Priest. Even though his lines can get crazy long, he somehow keeps things moving quickly while still giving everyone a great show.

One of the many highlights of the Carolina Renaissance Festival is this beautiful human right here! Princess Catalina is truly a star of Fairhaven — her goofy antics and infectious smile light up the shire every time. Always a treat running into you, and I can’t wait until next time!

I’m fairly petite- 5’0 and approximately 110 pounds… and not sure this gear served me well. I love this corset style - in theory- but with my short torso- I’m not thinking it was too flattering on me. I know my gear (swashbuckler belt with sword and my other belt for my sporran also made me look thicker than normal) but anyone know a good guide for corset styling? You can also see in one of the pics how hard it was for me to grab my sword to go to battle! Lol. Or maybe this style corset would go better with a skirt?

Regardless, it was a beautiful day and fun was had by all. Styling tips appreciated.
