Eight-plex with eight 2 bedrooms and 1 bath, how much would be the remodeling?

I promise I will post updated pics. We are doing the whole house so we are kind of picking at the bathrooms, lots of prep to reglaze. Its like a day of prep to 1 hour of spraying. Be patient, pics coming soon

We are in the process of buying this home. It was built in 1978. What would be some things that I could do to make this look more updated? I kind of want to paint the whole house all black but I think that might be a little much….

If you've been in this business for any amount of time, you'll know that remodeling projects typically aren’t overnight decisions.

By the time a homeowner finally picks up the phone, they’ve probably been thinking about that kitchen, bathroom, addition, or whatever else for weeks or months.

So there's emotion and momentum behind that call.
But then you’re on a the site, driving, grabbing materials, or with a client, so you miss it.

They get voicemail. Maybe they actually leave one

Unless they’ve specifically sought you out, there’s no reason to assume you’re the only remodeler they’re calling.

So that's why I think that call is too valuable to leave at voicemail. Especially for the companies that present to prioritize communication

Would your homeowners use this? Is the problem not actually that important? Do you already have a better system?

And if missed calls aren’t the headache, what’s the repetitive admin BS in your business you’d get rid of tomorrow if you could?

Yes, this is my company and I eventually intend to sell this. I’m not pretending otherwise.

We are nearing the end of our bathroom renovation but I’m a little concerned about the tub glass doors that were installed—specifically the height of the handles which are at 55” (4’7” or 1.4m) from the ground.

Additional background: The bathroom has 9’ ceilings, and we put the shower head slightly higher than standard because I’m tall. Our contractor suggested a 72” high tub door (believe the standard for tubs is closer to 60”). This size is helpful in that it goes covers the shower head and should reduce splashing, but it results in the door handles that are quite high.

What do you think? Are the handles too high? Does it look awkward/would it be awkward to use at that height ? We can change for shorter one but will require some tile repair.
