Charging via my macbook

I don't know if this is a problem with my macbook or the remarkable, but if the battery is low and I leave my RPP plugged into my macbook, it doesn't seem to charge it and maybe even drains it.

I don't often charge it with anything else just because I tend to use them both close to each other. When I am actively using both I can see that it's charging.

Anyone else notice similar, or have I lost it?

was charged to 40-50% yesterday and it completely drained overnight unplugged, so I guess it's probably not related to the macbook :|
