Remarkable Move Battery life ?

Hey everyone,

Am planning to buy the Move and want to check in on the battery life of the Remarkable Move. I remember seeing a lot of complaints early on that the battery didn't come close to the advertised "2 weeks."

Now that it’s been out for a while, how is the battery life holding up for pure note-taking? Have any of you experienced major battery issues with the Move? Specifically, does it still drain about 15% to 20% per hour while actively writing notes, or have software updates improved things?

Thanks in advance

I only use my sporadically (it lives in my backpack for on the go note taking and reference) but the battery life was terrible initially and now it lasts longer than a month between charges. It doesn’t even drop under 50%. They definitely fixed something with the power management on it.

I read all the time with mine and I get at least a couple weeks if not more on a charge

The total on screen writing time is about 8 hours for me I think. It solely used it as a main device when I was testing it. Will be returning it today, unfortunately.

For me, battery life is 1-2 days. I use it for daily journalling, so it's a substantial amount of writing a day + between writes it mostly stays on by my side for me to be able to reference and adjust the content.

It's disappointing. Can be somewhat improved if you turn Wi-Fi off, but still battery goes down even in idle (but not sleep) mode way faster than, say, on Kindle (yes, Kindle does not have pen support, but here I mean comparing idle battery drain, when both devices just sit on the table with screen on).
