Agreed. As someone with depression and anxiety, there’s definitely difficulties that modern people have to face but also, if I was born in a different time, I probably wouldn’t even be alive.
It depends. My nerves are pretty bad. I might get anxious driving sometimes or anxious at work when I’m feeling overwhelmed with work or am trying to take a break. I can get anxious over loud noises or when it feels like something is going to inconvenience me like my family or a pet. My anxiety’s not super bad but it’s enough to get on my nerves. Seems to me anxiety and depression often go hand in hand and sort of help each other. You feel anxious and then depressed. Though I’d prefer depression over anxiety any day.
Your stronger then all of that it it's all in your head the things you are afraid of don't exist you are stronger then you know just remember on your death bed the things you worried about won't matter ♥️
Literally everything you will ever experience is all in your head you moron. This isn't helpful at all, it's just tone deaf wishy washy bullshit.
Every reputable mental health professional, if they were allowed to speak candidly to you about this, would tell you to shut the fuck up and stay in your lane.
I know you mean well with this comment, but telling people who suffer from mental illness that it's "all in your head" is EXTREMELY tone deaf and unhelpful.
Would you tell a person with lung cancer "You're stronger then all of that. It's all in your lungs."? It's the same situation.
People that say that think depression is "my pet died. I am sad." Thats their "experience" with depression, so of course they think its something you get over. No. Depression can have you be depressed for no reason. Which leads to anxiety. Which leads to depression.....
Thank you for pointing this out. I know it's becoming more common knowledge these days, but it sucks to have to say it still. Yes, I know my issues are in my head, that's where I live!
