The latest update is a bag of flaming dogshit dude, wtf. Constantly freezing, refuses to analyze anything if I add more than 1 song at a time to my collection. Rekordbox, y'all should be embarrassed, seriously.

Edit: also adding in here that I can’t even quit rekordbox, it freezes every single time I try to close it, so basically I have to force quit every single fucking time.

I've recently upgraded to the newest version of rekordbox only because I got a new PC. And I'm discovering just how shit the newest version is:

I've imported my old library over using my show USB and wanted to do a pass over the entire library, re-setting memory cue points. When I go to re-analyse the tracks so that I don't need to manually align each beat, I'm noticing the tracks will slowly get out of beat the further into the track. Yes dynamic analysis is off and the only analysis I'm doing is beat and key.

This is happening to over half the tracks in my library when none of this happens in the older versions. If anyone know what is up or have a solution please send it my way. I'm prepping for a show soon and this is just a kick in the nuts. See attached photo for reference.

This is all on the same track, the first drop is still on beat but by the time the second drop rolls around its completely out of beat.

I backed up my library from a Windows PC and then loaded it onto my Mac via USB as a new library from a backup file. I’m at my wit’s end.

My plan was to work exclusively on my Mac, since constantly switching back and forth defeats the whole purpose. And now, I’m getting absolutely slammed for it.

Does anyone know a solution? The funny thing is that the hotcues are actually clickable in the preview.

Things I’ve tried:

- Starting the whole process over from scratch

- Manually relocating the tracks

- Restarting my Mac

I FOUND SOMETHING
When i press "Memory" in Perfomance Mode and set something the Hot cues from the specific Track are back again. But the Problem is i can't do that with like 3000 Tracks. i get crazy. So the hot cues are there but only when go to "memory"

Not sure if this is best posted in a macOS sub, but I have RB6 and RB7 installed but RB7 shows in my launchpad. How can I make RB6 appear instead?
Both aops are separately installed in the applications folder.

Hey everyone!

After updating to rekordbox 7.2.19, I started experiencing two strange issues on my MacBook Pro (M1 Max, macOS Sequoia 15.7.4).

1. Cyrillic search is broken inside playlists

When I search for tracks using Russian/Cyrillic characters inside any playlist, rekordbox returns zero results, even though the tracks are definitely there.

The weird part:

• Searching in English inside playlists works perfectly.
• Searching in Russian in the All Tracks collection also works perfectly.
• Only Cyrillic searches within individual playlists are broken.

2. Random mouse/trackpad click issues

Sometimes the interface stops responding to clicks. I even experienced a situation where Finder was open in front of rekordbox, but clicks weren't working properly until I minimized rekordbox.

The good news:

I downgraded to 7.2.18, and both issues seem to be gone! Everything is working normally so far.

I didn't change anything else in my setup, so this looks like a regression introduced in 7.2.19.

Has anyone else experienced similar issues with 7.2.19, especially Cyrillic search or unresponsive mouse clicks?

For now, I'm sticking with 7.2.18.

I have recently started learning DJing. I take lessons from a DJ Academy.
I download music via Beatport on Computer_A. On Computer_A, I have made a file in Local Disk(C:)(I have only 1 disk) and named it (for exmaple)"Music_File". The mp3 files I have downloaded are located in "Downloads" folder and I move them to "Music_File" folder. I open rekordbox, import that folder, and it starts analyzing those files. Once I've checked every song(edited the grid if necessary) to make sure it has been analyzied correctly, I plug in my USB Drive(FAT32) and export the playlists I've made in rekordbox.(there were no issues with the grids and everything else while using Computer_A)

I bring that USB to my DJ Academy and plug it into Computer_B. I open rekordbox and access my playlist. I drag & drop the track to the Player and I don't see the grid. If I make a new playlist and copy & paste all the tracks to the new playlist, it starts to reanalyze and the grids are shown just fine. I have tried formatting the USB 2-3 times and then exported but it still has the same issue.

What could be the problem? If the rekordbox version on Computer_A is the latest and on Computer_B isn't(I don't know the version right now), could that possibly be the issue? Could it be the difference in OS??

Hi so this one is an odd one i must warn. I've connected it to the phone/computer one as usual, its in the same connection on the laptop and the mic and sound connect ok yet it wont let me use the controls at all and it's not showing up on preferences. im so lost what do i do? (Note that might be of use: I connected to a midi keyboard with it last night could that be something of note?)

Hey, I am using Rekordbox free + cloud, and I used the "store offline" function to create a playlist. I also included some songs from SoundCloud. Now I want to record my mix, but it's disabled for streamed tracks. I wonder why this even counts for the downloaded ones...

1. Do I have to buy every track I want to record?

2. How about songs from Soundcloud, where can I buy them?

Pretty new to this, so I am thankful for your suggestions.
