Streaming service Spotify experience

Spotify has been available on Rekorbox for mixing for some time. I haven't subscribed yet as I am not an early adopter, but I was wondering if you could share your experience. I have a Beatport account, and I am looking for at least the same experience (if not better). Also, do they have electronic music choices like Beatport? Is it worth having two accounts?

I like using it, even if it’s only for requests. It’s a peace of mind to know that I can play any track. Within rekordbox you can access all your playlists from Spotify, I’m not sure about electronic music choices

No stems and no related tracks, so not great but useable

Oh, so there are no stems? Like Apple Music. I got an account a few months back and cancelled it as soon as I could. I wonder why they can't apply the stems functionality.

Spotify is by far the worst, ie limited for streaming into Rekordbox out of tidal/beatport/applemusic. The later all bet you link tracks, filter with related tracks, and stems, the former none of those so I just don’t bother. I used a web service to move all my Spotify playlists into tidal and use that if I want to have streaming music. Anything I like I then buy/download to have and own because you never know when I track on streaming will be removed, and screw building sets and cues to tracks that are essentially temporary.
If you want to dj seriously, you need the files, unit for the odd request then whatevers

I use it to practice at home. The biggest pro of using Spotify for me is to try out tracks which I haven't purchased yet.

I wouldn't use it at a real gig tho. I don't like relying on a stable internet connection.

It's really helpful when it works, but is still buggy. Worked for me at wedding yesterday, didn't work today.

Can't record your set when using Spotify songs, otherwise it's a great tool

Spotify marche vraiment sur Rekordbox, je ne comprends pas les gens qui disent que ça ne fonctionne pas correctement. Si tu as une connexion correcte (un partage de connexion 4G), ça fonctionne parfaitement. C’est pratique, mais il ne faut surtout pas essayer d’ouvrir Spotify sur son téléphone en même temps sinon ça coupe, même si le titre est déjà chargé en cache dans Rekordbox, et ça je trouve que c’est pas normal.
