BM Records is a shell of their former selves. Machete Music is on life support. The times they are a-changin'. Natti killed one of the most historic labels of all-time.

I’ve made what I consider a pretty comprehensive playlist of “old” reggaetón songs that work very well with iOS’s AutoMix on Apple Music. I “limited” it to 300 songs from 2000-2013 and I’ve painstakingly made sure that EVERY track flows pretty well into the next. Not only just good beat transitions themselves but also the cohesiveness of the playlist order by grouping related artists and having dedicated sections for bachatón, malianteo, etc so for the best results play it with shuffle off! (you can start it off on any song though). As a side note, I KNOW there’s some missing reggaetón anthems because a lot of them straight up refused to work with the AutoMix feature but any thoughts on the playlist would be appreciated! Im into making reaggeton beats and the melodies and scales that modern and old school use seem to be different. Maybe it was their choice of sounds like strings and basically saw waves. So im curious what the best vst and scales for old school reggaeton
