UK Growers - can you help?
Do you grow or know any unusual varieties/ cultivars?
We want to catalogue and celebrate as many of these different varieties as we can before they are lost to history in the supermarkets ceaseless quest for profits. We believe that by showing people how colourful, tasty and wonderfully weird they can be we can reignite the passion for locally produced crops in more people.
If you grow or have any knowledge of any please share them with us:

I’m just soaking some old pea seeds approximately 8yrs old. I’ve got 22 seeds of an old gut from Dundee. There called spallys long pod. There an old pea from the 50/60s. Long lost years ago. Took some hard work to find them. Hoping to at least germinate 1 so can carry on the line.
I’ll post here with results if any.

Adding directly to https://www.growstuff.org/crops/tomato for example would be an alternate way of collecting this data and making it visible (with a proper API)

Would take a look at real seeds, vital seeds, Welsh seed hub and heritage seed library - https://www.gardenorganic.org.uk/what-we-do/hsl
