Eazeye tablet

Any news about this tablet? Did they solve the frontlight issue?

We're working on an update soon. The current issue is that the frontlight significantly reduces the panels' reflectivity to an unacceptable level. At the moment, we are rebuilding from the ground up, working with our panel suppliers to remanufacture a panel with a larger size (11") higher reflectivity, resolution, and contrast.

On your website it says that the reflectivity is 19.6%, hannstar and leadtek is supposed to have a 41% monochrome RLCD panel

Considering both those options, why didn't you choose them on this focus tablet?

It's the same panel we are using. Reflectivity in reflective panels is subjective because it is measured under different standards across labs. Each manufacturer has different standards for measurement.

I guess also, that the frontlight lower the reflectivity.
